My Story

Nathan is a student at Saginaw Valley State University majoring in Business Management. Nathan attended the MYLead conference as an ambassador in 2005 as a sophomore from Brown City High School. Since participating as an ambassador in 2005, Nathan has returned to the conference every year where he has volunteered as a Team Alumni member and most recently as the Assistant Director of PITA's.

Leadership

Through MYLead Nathan learned many ways to become a better leader and a more outgoing person. He learned how to lead his High School Golf team to their first ever district title, and their first ever state championship appearence. He also was the captain of his High School Bowling and Quiz Bowl teams, where he also led the Quiz Bowl team to two state championship appearences. Nathan's greatest accomplishment as a leader has been his rapid improvements in public speaking and overall leadership skills.

Employment

Nathan is currently an employee at Wal-Mart.

Academics

Nathan is a full-time student at Saginaw Valley State University.

Daily Routine

In addition to being active with the Michigan Youth Leadership Conference, Nathan also enjoys cooking, being active, and watching/playing sports. He also remains active on the campus of Saginaw Valley State University with several different organizations.
