Conference: Logistics
Board: Treasurer
MY story
Courtney has volunteered with MYLead since 2005. She is pleased to share her passion for MYLead on the corporate board as Treasurer, throughout the year in conference planning, and at the conference helping with Logistics.
Leadership
Courtney was first introduced to leadership conferences in 1998. Since then she has tried to stay involved and share the experience that changed her life. MYLead gives her the perfect opportunity. Courtney has held various positions on the MYLead conference planning committee, most recently as conference co-chairperson for the 2008 and 2009 conferences. This year she will be enjoying a behind-the-scene role as the conference logistics coordinator. She looks forward to helping coordinate a great experience for future MYLead attendees.
Throughout her life Courtney has been involved in numerous other volunteer programs. Some of these include The Four County Community Foundation, National Honor Society, 2006 Women in Math, Science & Technology Workshop, S.E.R.V.E, D.A.R.E, and church youth groups. She also was involved in sports, often taking a leadership role. Although her love is volleyball, she also dabbled a little in basketball and track throughout her high school career.
Employment
Since 2007 Courtney has been a Management Engineer for the Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan. She works to improve processes and manage new initiatives in the health care industry. Before Henry Ford, Courtney was employed as a Product Engineer at TRW Occupant Safety Systems for 3 years.

Courtney received her Bachelors of Science in Engineering (Industrial) from Western Michigan University, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2004.
